Inspiration

Da ich mit meinem Kleid doch früher fertig war, habe ich noch einen Filzrock gearbeitet. Es ist eine sommerliche Blumenwiese geworden. Ich hatte diese Blumenvielfalt noch in meinem inneren Gedächtnis, da ich vorher 3 Wochen im Allgäu war und diese Sommerwiesenpracht mich unglaublich anregt, was ihr auf dem Foto gut erkennen könnt. Ich habe Nadelvlies als Ausgangsbasis verwendet und das Vlies dann mit ausgeschnittenen dünnen Blumenstoff und ausgeschnittenen Nadelfilzmotiven belegt. Bei der Kante habe ich von Yasmin handgefärbte Wolllocken des Teeswaterschafes eingefilzt. Yasmin hat im Internet eine webside und verkauft in ihrem dawandashop diese wunderschön gefärbten Locken. I was early ready with my dress and I had enough time to do a new feltign project. Then I decide to to my first skirt. My inspiration of this design was the wonderful pretty flowers of a summermeadow. Before I go to the workshop I stayed three weeks in the south of Germany and there was these flowers. I used for my skirt a prefelt and then I cut flowers and leaves from prefelt for the design. At the end of the skirt I used handdyed curls from the "teeswatersheep". A woman of our class did this.
